 Some FAQ's

|
Sensor and or actuator fixes and or upgrades
The new SDA dual axis sensors;
If you have bought the SDA sensors and find your north/south relays are clicking and or adjusting southwards a little too frequently, send me an email and I'll post out a new microchip with version 1.2 program to fix the issue. Or if you have the picaxe programmer I can email the program. To buyers of the SDA only.
Is the powersaver cutting in before your tracker reaches full east axis when the autopark feature works? Again, let me know and I'll send a new chip with extended east return timing.
Both the above issues will be sent free of any charges.
AXETRACKA single axis sensors;
If you have the single axis Axetracka sensors and would like the powersaver, which simply sends the whole sensor system to sleep for the night so there is only .005ma draining overnight, email and for a small fee, to cover the cost of the chip and post, I'll send the new chip out with powersaver.
What's new or what new features are coming for Axetracka solar sensors?
I am, when health permits me time, working on a computer interface for the new SDA dual axis sensors. they will be quiet basic in operation but will allow you to operate the tracker from you pc or laptop. It will be switchable from auto to manual tracking, and if I ever figure it out, will hopefully have a small display on what the tracker is actually doing.
Now please don't rush in asking for these ok. it is likely to be a few months before I can release them. But I have had so many people asking for this I decided I would give it a go. Why the heck not??? Again, this is all very dependant on my health, which is not real great at the moment. You would all be aware, MS attacks can come and go with short or long term consequences. I'm either up or down, and always somewhere in between the two. It's like the old saying "Life has more twists and turns than a Tiger-snake with a waggonwheel parked on it's tail" and that's what living with MS is like people. I just never know what tomorrow will be like for me. So be patient.....
Anyway, keep an eye on the site ok. And
"SMILE DAMN IT......"
