Hi all. It seems I have created a small issue when programming my Axetracka solar sensors.
If you suddenly discover your tracker will not auto park at night, firstly have a good look around the back yard to be sure there are no light sources close by the tracker.
One customer discovered his garden light stopped the sensor working at night. And I personally discovered my shed lights will stop the auto park feature.
And 3 recent calls have also had auto parking issues. The Cause? Ambient Light. Ambient light can be from, as stated above, and can also include street lights in the larger towns and cities.
OK, how do you fix it? Firstly, make sure the auto park is working. To do this, simply use something black, a piece of black insulation tape, or something very dark to cover the ldr and the LED's on front. it should head back east in darkness.
It is best to try this close on dark in the evening. If it will NOT auto park when covered, return them to me for repair or replacement. No charges.
If the auto park does work when you have tested as above, simply try the info on the photo below or send the microchip back so I can reduce the setting on the LDR. Why didn't I think of this possible situation earlier??? I'm not that bloody smart ok.!
As always People, if having problems feel free to contact me ok. I can't fix problems if I don't know they exist.
Dave....
